The Los Angeles School of Gymnastics is the first gymnastics center Nationwide.
Established in 1975, the school has served over 1,000,000 families with quality gymnastics instruction, innovative programs, and a well-rounded curriculum supporting healthy, happy children for over 45 years.
Their specialized trainers offer a unique opportunity for kids’ gymnastics programs that are hard to find in the Los Angeles area.
Our client wanted a setup of break-out rooms for athletes to rest and practice before they go out on the floor to compete.
They also wanted a way for everyone to see the scores and hear music to make the competition more exciting and immersive
We considered the size of the gym, where the competition will be taking place on the gym floor and the clients need to come up with a unique solution. We used pipes and drapes to create the break-out rooms on the left and right sides of the gym with the center being open for the competition space.
We also set up two LED screens to display the scores and a large speaker system to ensure everyone in attendance can hear the music and announcements.
To ensure that those who could not physically attend, especially considering the COVID-19 Pandemic, we set up video and audio to live stream the event to audience members from the comfort of their homes or even phones.
Pipe and drape setups have various names within the industry including pipe and drape system, pipe and base system, backdrapes, and theatrical backdrop.
Our pipe and drapes create a smart, non-intrusive background space. Ideally suited for trade show booths, they can also be used behind a theatre stage to cover up any distracting features of the non-dramatic wall/window/doorway behind it.
Since it is freestanding, the backdrapes are also ideal for use as room dividers, exhibition stand curtain backgrounds, catering aisles, partitions, stage backdrops, and drape decor at events such as tradeshows, weddings, industry functions, fairs, receptions, fundraisers, special events, performances, and more.
