This year we had the great honor to -r an innovative Biomedicine company called BioGenex create an awe-inspiring booth at the United States & Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) trade show at the Los Angeles Staples Center.
BioGenex designs develop and commercialize advanced fully-automated molecular pathology systems for cancer diagnosis, prognosis, personalized medicine, and life science research.
Their fully automated molecular pathology workstations are the most advanced system globally and their mission is to become the standard global molecular medicine company providing affordable solutions for life science research and personalized medicine.
BioGenex wanted to rent an LED screen at their booth so it would stand out but they didn’t know what screen size they needed and what pixel pitch they should go with.
When they initially looked at our website and saw the different prices, they naturally chose the least expensive of our LED screen pitch options which is 3.9mm. Before we give any recommendations to our clients about what screen they should rent we always ask thorough questions to better understand the desired vibe they want to create at their event and how they’d like to ideally use the LED video wall.
As an event planner, you don’t want to spend a lot of money and not get the most value out of it. Our goal is to always ensure that our clients get the most out of the dollars they invest into their events.
An LED screen also known as an LED video wall is like a giant TV screen, made up of many small led panels connected together. Each led panel is made up of many individual LEDs, depending on the pixel pitch of the panel the LED’s are closer together or further apart. Each LED produces 3 colors – Red, Green, and Blue, which are used to create infinite colors. When you stand far away from an LED video wall you don’t see the individual pixels, just the final image created by them.
After our initial consultation, we discovered that they had a small booth at the trade show and we recommended a 2.6mm pixel pitch LED wall with a slightly different size than what they originally wanted to better fit the content they wanted to display and ensure it’s clear resolution up close to ensure the best experience for attendees passing by their booth.
We -red them set up a large custom-size LED wall that was 11 feet wide and 8.2 feet high with the 2.6 mm pixel pitch LED wall to ensure anyone who came up to their booth could see everything with the clearest up-close resolution on the LED screen.
To ensure a strong and solid setup, we used a truss base to ensure the LED wall was firmly being held up from the ground while also reducing the amount of space needed for setup. We were able to plan out and set up this booth quickly within the same day and our client had a great experience at the trade show.
